libexplain30 software package provides library of syscall-specific strerror replacements, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libexplain30
libexplain30 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libexplain30 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libexplain30 *
You will get with libexplain30 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
